My Crafting World

Hi, my name is Leslie, I'm a housewife who loves to do crafts.  I love collecting craft supplies, love craft sales at Michael's, and Hobby Lobby, love finding bargains on craft supplies at thrift stores and dollar stores.  When we moved into our new house we ended up with this second living area which is pretty cool, it's kind of an awkward room to really be a living room so we sort of split it up into sections and one of the sections is my awesome craft room, in the process of cleaning it and organizing it I will include pictures. I love my craft room, I have 2 big tables to do projects on and lots of storage space, a silhouette machine, a sewing machine, a laminator, lots of little goodies to do craft projects.  
I have loved to do crafts since I was little and my grandmothers taught me to sew.  I would take old clothes or material my grandma gave me and make my dolls and barbies cloths when I was little.  One year I made Christmas gifts for family, I included photos and Poems that I had written and put them together in a little book, everyone seemed to love them.  More recently I've made my mother in law several gifts for different occasions.  I've made her a really nice cross, a glitter flower globe, some miniatures, and jewelry.  This past Christmas I made everyone a Glitter Flower Globe, which I got the idea for on a YouTube video where they took a glass and turned it into a snow globe, and I took the idea and put my own twist on it and made a handmade flower and attached it into the glass with some glitter inside for a pretty decoration, I think they'd look great for a wedding as well, I did all of them in a white theme and each person got a slightly different flower.  
I'm also into collecting dollhouse miniatures, I have 2 huge dollhouses that I got last year, both came with lots of furniture and I've been learning how to hand make some things for the houses too. This blog I'll be including crafts I've made and my dollhouses and the progress I've been making on decorating them and setting up the rooms and things.  
Well here are just a few of the things I've made....hope to be making lots more awesome things and include them here on my blog, maybe even have some tutorials.

                                          I made this for my mother in law for her birthday, its
                                          miniature perfume bottles on a miniature table I also made.

                                          This is a centerpiece for a flower, glued some beads
                                          on some felt, got the idea on a youtube video.
